That was it. That was the last time anyone was going to call him a "geek". It suddenly pissed him off more than ever. The rage flooded through his veins so quickly it made them seem like they would burst at any second. His clenched fists turned red and he could physically feel himself restraining to knock this guy out. This strength was only available when he was amazingly angry such as now. But this anger hardly ever came out at this level. He had a hard time controlling this new feeling. Luckily it only came out in words.
"Don't fucking call me that!" He shouted in somewhat of a dark voice that echoed around the area they stood in. His head was facing down and his eyes were closed. His breath escaped him in short gasps and he could not believe he had actually yelled at someone like that.
He opened his eyes slowly but did not look up. Darien was afraid again. What if that guy just decided to get it over with and punch the life out of him right then and there? What if he would do nothing to him at all? Darien could have been overreacting. That was hopefully the case. But Darien could never be sure. To play it safe, he avoided the gaze of either Serena or the random guy. He was still in slight shock of himself.

Gavin scoffed at the geeks new found confidence. At first he was slightly taken back at the geek's outburst but noticed that he was now quite unsure what he had done. Gavin knew that some kids would brag about how that could stand up to a rebel but when it comes down to it, it's very rare that someone even tries, and nearly impossible that someone succeeds. Gavin wasn't about to let this as*hole succeed.
"Call you what?" Gavin asked trying to sound innocent. "A geek?" He took a few steps toward the geek and Serena. Keeping his eyes on the geek, he made sure to invade the guy's personal space, hopefully making him feel uneasy. "It's what you are, don't think you can change that by f*cking a girl." With that he made a swift punch to the geeks
abdomen. His fist rebounded back from colliding with the geeks thin frame. Gavin was ready to just start beating this guy to the ground but held himself back, this was just a warning.

Serena's eyes widened at what she was witnessing. This was all she needed, two guys beating each other up over her. With Darien it wasn't as much fighting for her as it was self-defense. She knew Gavin was both a lover and a fighter so he would do whatever it took to win her back. A numbing sensation came over her slowly. It crawled up her skin and flowed into her brain.
As soon as Gavin's fist hit Darien the numbing stopped and reality hit. Even though he was a geek Serena sensed something strong within him. Gavin was a pretty good fighter, but his ego took over at times. She wasn't going to let this madness continue.
"Gavin stop it!" she pleaded. This was the only way. For once she would have to be the damsel in distress. If all worked out the way she planned he would feel sympathetic enough to stop.

There was a sudden burst of pain. It felt like someone broke his ribs. It felt like his ribs were slowly digging into all the other organs in his body. It was like they were poking into his skin; like someone was trying purposely to cut him open and use his ribs as tools. But of course this wasn't the case. Darien wasn't used to this amount of physical pain in one shot. He hated to admit it, but this guy had a good punch.
Grasping onto his stomach area, he fell to the ground into what looked like a ball. He stayed there wincing in pain for what felt like an eternity. It took a few minutes for him to catch his breath. Once he did, he stood up stumbling a little. With all the might he could muster, Darien swung his left leg around and attempted to kick this guy in the shin.
He wasn't entirely sure if he hit him or not, but disregarding it at the moment, he carefully went closer to Serena. Trying to kick this guy took a lot more out of him than he expected. He wobbled next to Serena and leaned his arm on her shoulder, trying to hold himself up.

Gavin could clearly tell that he caused this geek some pain and he tried so hard not to laugh in the kids face as he was on the ground. He knew it was very cynical but the guy should knew better then to mess with him.
The geek's foot made contact with Gavin's leg but Gavin was used to way worse so it barley felt like a scratch. Watching him stumble over to Serena was another sight that almost made Gavin laugh out loud. He keep on a serious face only to not piss off Serena more then he already had.
Gavin took a few steps forward to where Serena and the geek now stood, or half stood in the other guys case. "You wanna talk to me again?" Gavin said viciously, directed at the geek.
