I Won't Let You Smother It;; Kyle walked up, and down the streets. He didn't usually go out in public, but this time he needed some fresh air, and he hoped maybe there would be more people that would talk to him, like Laken. Just the thought of her brought a small smile to his face. She was the nicest girl he knew. But he couldn't always be thinking about her. No, that'd creep her out, and scare her away, and he'd never do anything to hurt her, or harm the fact that she was happy. He never wanted to end that.
Kyle notice a familiar Coffee Shop. He didn't go there often, coffee wasn't his favorite of things, but eh remembered his parents going there to get a drink. It was a cool hang out spot, or a place where Kyle could just sit back, and chill. He didn't get an often time to really do anything. He wondered if anyone would think it was weird. The invisible guy like him being out in public. Would they make fun of him? Would he just end up crying because everyone was having fun, and he wasn't? Kyle was so sensitive, simple things like that could get him to cry, but he didn't want to cry. He was happy. Though, he didn't look it. He had a no emotion face on. Where it looked like he was trapped in a day dream. So you wouldn't stop by and chat with him, unless you knew him better.
He took a seat at a booth without getting anything to drink. It was weird, coming to a coffee place, but not getting Coffey. Would they kick him out? He'd end up getting coffee, but right now he wasn't thirsty, and he hated having caffeine. He actually like being half dead. He leaned back in the fluffy booth chair, and looked out the window. Why was he here? He wanted to get more in with people, but he doubted anything would work. He wasn't human. Well he was, but he was pretty abnormal. The fact of him having purple face painting around his eyes. With a black star looking thing over it. Most people didn't wear that sort of stuff, or unless it was the thing in their little cliques. He just did it because sometimes he liked being different, and it was his thing.

Hearing the familiar ding as a customer waited for someone to take their order rung in Ashlee's ears nonstop. Didn't people have friggin' patience? Jesus... Managing up the biggest smile she could possibly find, she walked casually to the front desk, tilting her head some and looking over the rather elderly woman. Clearing her throat some, she then asked in a peppy tone, Hello, and good afternoon. May I get you something? Listening to the lady's order, Ash rung it up, then said, Your total is $3.47. Getting handed a 5 dollar bill, then lady told her to keep the change. Telling the lady thanks, she hurried up and made the order. handing it to the lady, she nodded, then sighed heavily. God, was it hard to act so nice!
Ashlee didn't want to work here at all, but she needed the money. And, quite frankly, this place had good pay. And awesome tips. Grabbing a rag on the silver sink in the back, she got it somewhat wet, then went in the front where all the tables are. She then began to clean some, picking up the tips that were strewn about. She was the only one working besides the two other coffee makers, but they had no clue how to cater to someone. Glancing up when she heard the door open and shut, she watched Kyle for a long time. Almost as long as when someone knows you're watching them and they glance up some. Thank God he didn't. yet. His make up alone made him stand out enough for her to just pick him out of a crowd of a million people.
Walking towards him slowly, she pulled out a pen and pad, ready to write down whatever he wanted. Pushing her bangs away, her straightened chocolate hair flowed behind her freely, half of it in one of those half pony tails. Her caramel eyes did a once over, then she began to speak, Hello. Can I get you anything today? Waiting for him to answer, Ashlee thought she knew him from somewheres, but she couldn't quite put his face in anybody she knew. Shrugging it off, she just stood there, waiting.

Private Emotion;; Kyle kept his site to the window until he heard a voice. It scared him at first, but he wasn't sure if the person was talking to him or what, and what they wanted? Kyle didn't know, but hey, in order to answer theses questions, you need to check, and ask. He looked over to where he thought the voice was coming from. He saw someone standing there by the side of his booth. He looked up to see a slightly familiar person. Her name? He never knew anyones name. No matter how familiar she was, her name wasn't there in his memory. Though, was she even familiar? He just stared up at her for a little while, until he noticed what she had asked. He knew he'd have to answer. Kyle really didn't want coffee. Nor, did he want to waste her time by saying nothing. Anyways, he'd probably get kicked out of he store for taking up a seat if he didn't order anything. He looked up, and then thought as he changed his vision to his hands which lay on the table rubbing each other. He always played around with his fingers when he was thinking. "Uhm? Do you guys have water here?" He knew they did. Every place had water. Though he wanted to make sure, and he guessed that she'd just go on his marry little way to get him some. Though Kyle was stuck thinking again. why was a girl like her working in a place like this. It smelled like coffee, which Kyle hated. Maybe she was the type to like that smell? Why would someone get a job just because the place you worked in smelled good? Now that was a dumb solution. Maybe it paid good? It didn't seem like it would. The sold cheap Coffee, and not a lot of people came. unless they needed to talk .This place was the perfect talking place. Though, Kyle was still unsure about her, but it wasn't very nice to be stuck thinking about someone who was right in front of you, though it wasn't anything like gossip though.

We sure do, hun. Ashlee replied. She smirked at Kyle, then put her pen and pad away in on of the pockets on her black apron. She then walked back towards the back of the counter and set the rag back down by the sink. She then grabbed a coffee cup and filled it with water. Walking back, she set the cup down in front of Kyle, then looked around. It was only him in here. Good. She didn't have to work at all now. Well, until someone came in again.
Ash sat down across from the guy. It was fun to get to know people. And as to why they were funky make up on themselves. Running a hand through her hair, she set both of her hands on the table, like she was some type of business woman making a proclamation about a job offer. Haha. Sighing softly, Ashlee looked around, then let her eyes rest on Kyle. He was cute. And she totally digged his hair. Ahaha. So, what's your name? Ashlee asked. Mind as well make the first move and try to muster up some conversation.

Forever You Will Stay In My Memory;; Kyle watched her walk away, and he sat back again. He was happy she was gone to be honest. He came here to think, not be talked to a girl like her. No, Kyle didn't mind her, just from his paste girl who looked like her always seemed to pick on him. From not being manly, or having muscles. Kyle was the complete opposite of all the things that those girls wanted in the past. Kyle took the cup in his hands drank it slowly. He was happy that he could get some decent water. At least she wasn't some bitchy girl, who complains all the time. He thought that maybe this time he'd leave some sort of tip. Even though, he wasn't the money bags of this place, but he was caring, and leaving a tip was nice. Hr might even get somewhere at this school. Doing kind things. He smirked to himself. Kindness was no way to get anywhere at school. School was a hell, and you were what you were, nothing was changing that. Kyle looked up to her once more, and noticed that she wasn't leaving. She took a seat right in front of him .It was nice to have some company. Anyways, the reason he came here was maybe to have a small chat. And find another person who doesn't seem him as invisible. He would sure like that. The feeling of everyone on Earth knowing your alive. One step at a time though. One baby step at a time that was. Kyle looked to her, and answered her question, "Kyle....Yours?" He bet that they'd never see again. So telling each other there names didn't seem like much, but he hoped that she'd end up remembering him. Though, not worrying about him. Just having one thought about him was all that he wanted after this. He didn't want to be thought about too much though. He hated getting in the way of others lives.

I'm Ashlee, Ashie replied. She smiled some, then looked at her freshly painted hot pink nails idly. The color was so pretty. It kind of hurt your eyes if you stared at it for too long, though. And that's why Ashlee loved it. Pain was love to her. That's all she really dealt with. The Hospital was like her best friend, going in for one broken bone after another. She got to the point where she knew half of the medical staff in there, and that sure as hell is a lot of staff. Snapping back to right now, Ashlee studied Kyle's face. Purple face paint and a star on it. Unique, yet she would never dare do in public like that. Well, unless some of her friend did that with her.
So, Kyle... what's up with the paint? It's cute and all, but I just wanna know why you do it. Gah! She probably sounded mean right now. She didn't mean to, though. She just was curious. Thank God she wasn't a cat. Raising an eyebrow after she had asked kyle that, she began to drum a beat softly on the table, then looked outside. it was bright and sunny, welcoming you as if it was 100 degrees outside. But once you hit out those doors, bam! A huge gush of wind smacks you right on the cheek, as if telling you not to be so vulnerable next time.

Everybody's Got Their Problems, Everybody Says The Same Thing To You;; Ashlee. Another name Kyle would keep forever. He would never forget her face. He wanted to remember her. She'd be a half friend. He wasn't sure what she thought of him, but he hoped it was good. He took another sip of the cold water, staring into the water. He didn't want to look at her Too much. She might feel weird. But Kyle just loved studying people. He took a slight glance up, and noticed that she was looking at him. But why? Kyle feelt weird and looked down again. Scratching the sides of the cup with his fingers. Now she started talking again. Kyle didn't look up, but he just hated her question. Why were people so nosy. It was his business, right? Well Kyle would tell her about it, but explaining it was had. He just did it because it was his thing. How would he explain? He did it because he liked it. Was that wrong? Because he liked sticking out of the crowd, and being someone different for once. He hated being the same as everyone else, and sometimes Kyle thinks of it as a way to get peoples attention. A way of getting people to have a quick glance at him. Yeah, they probably get quick thoughts of him as a weirdo. Was this Ashlee girl just trying to get his self esteem low? Now Kyle wasn't sure to trust or what, but he had to explain himself. Just making angry faces at a cup of water wasn't going to get them anywhere. "Well, it started with my parents. When they did have time to spend with me they'd just do the randomness of things." First feeling angry, now Kyle had a smile on his face. He loved his parents a lot. Though, they didn't have much time for him. And he hated that, but when they did have time to spend with each other it was always fun. "They always got a different face paint every time it washed away. Without it on, it just wasn't very normal. So i wore it more often." Kyle was amazed at how he was explaining a part of his life to her. She didn't seem the nicest, but he couldn't keep himself from talking, but he did stop there. He didn't want to explain all of the personal stuff.

Lilith shivered slightly as she made her way into the coffee shop. She was mentally berating herself for not wearing a sweater but it had looked nice outside so she hadn't grabbed one. She usually had something to keep her warm in her bag since she often got cold, sweaters were warm and fuzzy and made her feel good.
Her eyes glanced around the shop and landed on the two at a table. They seemed to be talking and she didn't want to interrupt but they looked interesting. She gave a small shrug after an internal debate and sat a table near by so she could watch them. She liked watching people though she hoped nobody noticed she was watching. It tended to make people think she was even weirder then they already thought she was. She knew she was odd compared to most but she didn't like it when people teased her, she didn't think anybody like being teased so she wondered why people did it. Didn't most parents teach their children to treat others as they would like to be treated?
She gave a little sigh and tugged at one of her braids. Her hair was currently pulled into two braids with purple ribbons running through them. Most of her clothing today was black, the only other color was purple. Her fitted tee-shirt, pants, and shoes were black, as was her book bag, but she also had on a purple tie as a belt, along with two purple ties that hung loosely around her neck. She wore earrings that looked like purple paper-clips and no makeup. Her current outfit was pretty much as "normal" as she got.
