kick off your stilettos and fuck me in the backseat
His combat boots were not made for the sand. They sunk into the pools of miniscule grains made over thousands of years, seeping through the holes he had worn into them over the years. Though he was wearing socks, beneath the feeble material he could feel the grains rubbing against his feet, determind to make him angry, saying quite plainly shake me out. But that would be ridiculous, seeing as the same thing was bound to happen over and over again. So he trudged on, very aware of the sand in his shoes, very annoyed by it too. But at least it was a nice night, with the moon shining brightly overhead, like some romantic orb God put there to shine lovers in their beautiful love-making. He laughed loudly, the insane, humorless sound echoing back to him, showing him that the beach was quite empty. Again, another thing to be thankful for. The bottle inside of his backpack was just begging to be drunk, and soon enough Danny would, along with Seth, and Raine. He tried to smile, and it came out as a wince. Ouch. He'd have to work on that.
To say he was nothing short of elated was an understatement. He was quite excited to be drinking with this girl he so adored. It was strange for him to be looking forward to something so much, especially as something ordinary as drinking. But add in Raine, and it became extordinary. For him, anyway, for he doubted Seth felt the same way. Shaking his head, he smirked, realizing that because it was only the three of them, his best friend would have no one to hook up. Hah, sucked for him! Oh well, he would live, what was one night without a girls company when you had been getting it every day of the week for years? He was confident Seth could control himself. After all, they were best friends, and he knew how much Danny liked Raine and wanted it to work. He had always been there for Seth, and Seth had always been there for him. They understood eachother. To think that he would commit the ultimate act of betrayal was just plain stupid. The thought made him smirk again. Poor, Seth. For once Danny would be the one having all of the fun.
Wandering on the beach at night might have sounded fun, but not to Danny. He grumbled and swore and spit as the horrible, annoying sand inside of his boot rubbed ever harder, screaming and digging and showing themselves plainly. He was in half a mind to just fucking take the damn boots off, but he knew that he would never do that. It was one of those things that irked him. Bare feet might have looked alright on anybody but him, but not him. Not to mention it was pretty fucking cold. He pulled the hood of his black sweatshirt over his messy light hair, ruining the effect but not caring. It was dark, and besides, they were about to be wasted anyway.
He saw the two shapes before hearing them quietly talking. He stuffed his now-blue hands in the pockets of his skin-tight jeans, struggling a bit as he did so. They were sitting down on the sand, and Danny's lip curled up in disgust, not wanting to get the grains in his pants, too, but realizing he had no choice. Plopping himself down beside Raine, he looked at Seth and felt rather guilty about keeping him waiting. But he smirked all of the same.
"Sorry, man, Miss Abe almost saw me sneaking out. I had to wait like, twenty minutes before she stopped searching for me. Stupid bitch. Hi, Raine."

Her head nodded. She shivered and pulled his coat around her, wishing she wasn't so damn skinny. Then maybe his jacket would fit, maybe. It wasn't like he was fat, not at all. Raine was lieing on her back, again looking at the stars. When the other kid showed up it took her a while to figure out who it was. Usually she would glance at him and know who but it was dark out and she was not in it. Once her eyes and brain made the connection, Raine could barley breath. Then he said her name, it felt like there was no need to cut anymore. Danny would never have to know about her left arm habit if he stayed. Hey. Was the only word she could make out for now. It showed no ethusiams that she felt. Raine grasped at her left wrist again, feeling stupid. Her hazel eyes were staring lovingly into Danny's face, luckily it was dark out. Then she caught Seth's glance at her left arm and she quickly took her hand from it before a certain someone noticed.

Seth was looking over at Raine when Danny arrived. He immeditly knew who it was, just by the sound of his foot steps. Danny had a very unique walk. Very hard steps. Turning his head to look at his best friend, Seth held out his his arms in a proverbial 'What's going on?'
'What the fuck, Danny. What took you so long?'
No longer paying attention to Raine, but rather concentrating on the back pack on Danny's back that held the Vodka they would soon be drinking, Seth held out his hand for a low-five from his friend. He hadn't even noticed how lost for words Raine had become until Danny spoke.
'Sorry, man, Miss Abe almost saw me sneaking out. I had to wait like, twenty minutes before she stopped searching for me. Stupid bitch. Hi, Raine.'
As Danny looked down at Raine, who was still sitting in the sand, clutching her wrist, Seth too looked at Raine. She seemed shocked that he was there. Though she knew good and well that he would be. Seth knew that Danny liked Raine. But Raine didn't. And Seth wasn't sure if Raine liked Danny. But we would soon find out.
'Hey'
He heard Raine whisper quietly. He smirked lightly. She did like him. Awe, the two love birds. Though neither of them knew that the other liked them. Seth was the keeper of their secrets now.
'Did you bring the goods, dude?'
Seth asked, still eyeing the backpack that Danny held.

when I die will they remember not what I've done but what I haven't done? It's not the end that I fear with each breath, it's life that scares me to death
The soft word uttered by Raine made Danny frown, but it went unseen in the covering darkness. Maybe he had been wrong about his suspicions that Raine liked him - after all, who would? Insecurities that floated to the top of his mind threatened to push him into a state of misery. But no, he wasn't an emo person, and all of his thoughts weren't deppressed, so despite this, it took some difficulty to push these said thoughts away and focus upon the present. He would worry about this later. But as he glanced sideways away from Seth at Raine, he saw something peculiar. She was holding her wrist as if shielding the world from seeing it. His piercing green eyes, which were visible even in the low light, narrowed slightly. Was there something she wasn't telling him? Danny wasn't stupid - he knew all about the acts of the scene and emo kids. He had never met anyone that had cut before, so he didn't know if this was normal behavior for one to do. He hoped not. The thought of Raine's delicate skin being marred by scars made his own crawl.
Smirking at Seth, who probably couldn't see it in the dark anyway, he lightly pulled of his old pack and fished around in it, extracting the gleaming vodka bottle, full to the brim and just wailing to be drunk now. Well, now was the time to grant it its one last wish. He unzipped another pocket and pulled out three shot glasses, and a ziplock back filled with multi-colored pilled. He shrugged - he didn't think any of them would want any, but he figured he'd bring it just incase. Danny wasn't sure what the mix of these pills and alchohol would produce, and although it most likely wasn't death he was slightly worried. But caution couldn't ever stop him once he got going.
He put the back next to him and struggled at the top of the vodka, but eventually it gave and opened, filling his senses with his favorite drink. Whilist Seth chose whisky, Danny prefered vodka. The taste was slightly more desirable and it seemed to burn away all those horrible thoughts and memories while going down his throat. He loved it. And although one might call him alchoholic, it wasn't as if he needed it to survive. He simply enjoyed getting drunk. Careful not to slop any of the expensive drink unto the sand, he poured the three shot glasses to the top with vodka and handed one to Seth and Raine, feeling shivers go down his neck when his fingers brushed Raine's briefly.
"Cheers," Danny said, raising his glass. He lifted it towards his lips and drank it down in one gulp, feeling that satisfying burning sensation in his throat.

She took the drink and smirked when his hand hit her own, but it quickly went away. Truth was she didn't want the vodka. She was just on the beach when they showed up. Raine sighed but drank it before any of them had a chance to drink their's. She set her glass down and watched them drink in scilence. Her breathing had returned to normal, and her face wasn't as flushed as it had been when Danny showed up. She saw how happy they looked when they drank, Raine eyed them suspiciosly. Obviously the drink wasn't theres, but where the hell did they get it? Instead of wondering about this too long she realized how cold she was and was jealous of Danny's jacket. Of corse she had Seth's on but his was way to big for her and Danny's looked to be slightly her size. Raine watched the stars and watched the drink in the bottle decrese as they drank merrily.

Seth squinted in the darkness to make out the figure that was Danny, thought he was sitting only a few feet from him. Finally, his eyes focused in on his best friend as he fished around in his ratty old backpack. Finally, he produced the bottle of Vodka that the two had planned on drinking that night. Now they actually were. The only problem was the Raine was with them. Seth was afraid that she would put a damper on the night. Seth knew that Danny liked Raine, and was almost positve that Raine liked Danny. Then the thought hit Seth that he had no one there that night. Fuck. So Danny and Raine would be hooking up and he would be sitting there by himself. He cursed under his breath and looked over at Danny who was now extracting the shot glasses.
Seth didn't see them at first, but soon he could see the brightly colored pills that were in the bag with the shot glasses. Oh no. He thought back to the last time Danny and Seth had taken pills while drinking. The two of them had ended up passed out in Seth's dorm for 3 days. He shook his head. There was no way in hell he was taking any pills tonight. And he wasn't sure if he would let Danny take any either. Though, once Danny got drunk, it would be hard to stop him from doing anything. Seth sighed and watched Danny pour the drinks, being extreamly careful not to spill.
Looking over at Raine, she had stopped clenching her wrist and was now looking much happier than she had been 15 minutes ago. Danny. That was the only explanation. She was head over heels for Danny, just as Danny was for her. Seth shook his head. Was he going to lose his Wing Man? Just for a girl. Seth and Danny had always promised that Dicks always came before Chicks, but their friendship had never really been tested in that way. Feeling a cloud of depression fall over him, he faked a smile and took the shot glass from Danny. He watched Danny down it first, then Raine. Fianally he downed his in one great chug. He hardly even felt the burn, showing that he had been drinking far too long. Sighing again, but keeping the smile on his face, he decided he was going to get good and drunk tonight. Maybe then he wouldn't have to think about the possiblity of losing his best friend.
'Cheers'
Seth grunted before grabbing the bottle from Danny and pouring himself another shot and downing it quickly before pouring another.

So am I still waiting For this world to stop hating? Danny watched Raine's small frame, her features now thrown into the moonlight, as the large orb had made itself known by escaping the clouds that so hid it. In the dim light it was hard to make out facial expressions, and so he couldn't really read hers, though he would of liked to. He was still suspicious about her not liking him - it seemed like a too real possibility. He sighed, his bright green eyes traveling to the stars on which her gaze rested then back to her, looking her up and down, though not checking her out, more like studying her. Studying the way she held herself, her posture, trying to figure out what it all meant. Her little wrist-grabbing moment of vurnability had given him a bit of an idea of what she did alone, but he wasn't positive, and he wouldn't of suspected it from her. She seemed like such a merry child. But then again, Danny really didn't know her at all.
He watched as she lifted the glass to her lips, hesitating, or preparing for the burn that vodka caused? Danny wished that he could ask her, but he knew even before he tried that the words wouldn't form. He always felt so damn tongue-tied around her! Danny hadn't noticed that Seth had stolen the drink that he had stole, and without realizing that there wasn't any liquor in the cup he was holding Danny raised it to his lips and tried to take a non-existent gulp. Expecting drink and finding nothing but cool air, he fell into a coughing fit that seemed to never subside. Eventually emerging, gasping for breath and holding his side, he realized quite quickly that his face was burning, and not just from the effort of trying to breath. Refusing to look at Raine (too embarrassed, really) he turned away and glared at Seth, grabbing the bottle out of his hand.
Pouring another glass to cover his mistake, Danny downed it in a matter of seconds and was filling up his glass again. And again. And again. By this time, he was beginning to feel rather woozy, and the bottle had been drained a considerable amount. Shaking his head in the hope of clearing it (it didn't) he turned and almost sloshed some of the vodka into the sand, holding it out towards Raine, grinning at her stupidly, all thoughts of his mess-up gone.
"Want some?"

Her hazel eyes watched the two boys drink. Her head started the throb just watching them finish the bottle. Honestly, the red-head didn't nesicarly like to drink. She had heard stories when she was in the orphanage about the kid's who parents had drinken then abused there child. Raine thought that it was horrible and promised herself that she would adopt one of those kids one day. The orphanage was not as bad as most people thought, it just brought memories that were living hell to all the kids that went there. Her mind was racing with these images and thoughts and her hand was clutching her wrist again in memories. She wanted to scream and cry, and if she was alone she would have, but she wasn't so she didn't. When Danny spoke she warned herself not to go into thought again then opened her mouth. No, im fine. Raine saw that they were already tipsy and didn't need anymore to drink but tonight, her head already hurt. Therefore she didn't dare drink another sip.
